The Program Composite Ranking weighs a combination of the recent and traditional success of every program. It is used to determine expectations and program potential. This is based on an average of their All-Time Ranking (1936-present) and the ranking of the Past 7 Years. We know from Elite Programs that what happened in the past 7 years is influential on program perception.
This ranking is listed in a column in the Head Coach Rating to measure year-to-year standards of success.
