This represents the value of each team when compared with teams of the same record/resume during the season. In other words, the teams at the top will receive the benefit of the doubt over teams below them when it comes to making the CFB Playoff.
Disclaimer: The most important distinction is, as always, between Elite and non-elite. This system, which has held up well in the Eliteness Tracker so far, is still under construction. However, the goal is to come up with a system that shows a hierarchy among Elite Programs as well as non-elite programs.
